How Sachho works.

We don't rank consultancies. We don't accuse them. We collect what students said happened after they paid, moderate it, anonymize it, and publish it as guidance.

What our status labels mean

Pending: newly submitted, not visible publicly, awaiting moderation review. Approved: submission passed moderation and is aggregated into the consultancy's public stats. Rejected: submission failed moderation and is hidden. Unverified: approved but no independent proof shared. Proof submitted: student provided supporting documents privately to moderators. Verified: moderators reviewed proof and verified the outcome. Disputed: consultancy contested the report; moderators flagged it pending resolution.

How stats are calculated

Visa approval rate = approved ÷ (approved + rejected), excluding pending and withdrawn outcomes. Dropped-after-payment rate = students who reported communication stopped after they paid ÷ all approved reports. Post-arrival support rate and recommend rate are calculated the same way. Sample-gated: percentage metrics are withheld until enough approved reports exist; counts may appear earlier because they are factual platform counts, not rates.

Why consultancies can't pay

No consultancy can pay to boost a score, hide a report, or move up the directory. Sachho does not run paid rankings, sponsored profiles, or "verified-for-a-fee" badges. Verified status comes from moderator review of evidence, not from anything paid. If a consultancy disputes a report, it can be flagged as disputed while moderators review -- that status is visible publicly so students can decide for themselves.

Why we use careful language

Sachho never uses words like "best", "worst", "scam", or "guaranteed". It says "students reported", "based on approved submissions", "early signal", and "limited data" -- an attempt to keep this platform honest, fair, and useful to the next student.
